Paul – I’ve got customer’s here today, and we’re way behind schedule.  I had planned to be there at 6 PM to introduce Mr. Boyd to the rest of the board and staff.  It does not appear that I will be able to get there by 6 PM, particularly with the weather conditions.

 

I’m sure Jim will take the ball and introduce Bob to everyone.  I did want to say a few words to everyone as I passed along the reigns.  Would you please read this in the “correspondence” section of the meeting:

Thank you all for giving me the privilege of serving with you these last several years.  It has been an incredible learning experience for me, and I believe I will be a more effective School Director at North East as a direct result of my time with you.  I have developed a great respect for the wonderful opportunities you all provide to our students, so keep up the good work.  And keep the ISO thing going. It provides a framework for a lot of unique things ECTS does – things every school should start doing.  

 

Bob Boyd will be a great replacement.  He is an experienced School Director, a savvy businessman, and a compassionate, caring person.
