Your portfolio should
include a mission statement, statement of ethics, or personal reflection. A mission statement is simply writing down
what is important to you. Items that may
be included:
Goals (i.e. My goal is to receive my high
school diploma and attend a 2-year technical college.)
Beliefs (i.e. I believe that I should treat others the way
I would like to be treated.)
Roles (i.e. As a friend, I will be loyal,
strong, and caring. I am a hardworking
student that shows responsibility and dedication.)
What you include in
your mission statement is up to you.
There are a variety
of ways to write your mission statement.
You can simply make a list or write it out in paragraph form. If you want to exercise your creativity, put
it into poetry or song!
